Artificial Grass Yarn Extrusion Machine
This high-efficiency extrusion machine is professionally developed for producing artificial grass monofilament and curly yarn. It adopts mature plastic extrusion technology and precise structural design, supporting the processing of multiple raw materials including polypropylene (PP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), and nylon 6 (PA6). The equipment integrates melting, extrusion, shaping and drawing into one unit, featuring stable operation, high output and uniform product quality. It can stably produce grass yarn with different specifications to match various artificial turf production lines, and is widely applied in the artificial turf manufacturing industry.
How It Works
Raw PP/PE plastic granules are fed into the extruder barrel. Under the combined action of external heating and screw rotation friction, the materials are gradually heated, melted and plasticized into uniform viscous melt. Driven by the screw, the melt is continuously and stably extruded through the special die head to form continuous filament. The newly extruded filaments go through cooling, stretching, setting and winding processes in sequence. By adjusting parameters such as screw speed, temperature and traction speed, the machine controls the diameter, toughness and physical properties of finished grass yarn, so as to meet different production standards and product requirements.
